James "Fritz" Scheuer

​

Born and raised in Northwest Pennsylvania (McKean, PA).  Has been married for 15 years to Carly Scheuer formerly of Cincinnati.  Has three sons, James (13), Owen(11) and Colin(8).  James plays Volleyball, for OVC, travel soccer, Soccer and Runs track for Princess Anne Middle School.  Owen plays travel soccer as well as soccer for Princess Anne Middle School and Volleyball, for OVC.  Colin plays soccer, basketball and volleyball.  Anything to keep them moving.

Works at Princess Anne Middle School where he teaches in 8th grade, Earth and Physical Science, has been at Princess Anne Teaching now for 20 years.

Coaches the Boys Soccer team and the Girls Basketball Team.  Has won 9 City Championships for the Boy's Soccer team and has made two city finals for the Girl's Basketball team.

Spent his High School days at General McLane High School, lettering in basketball, golf and track.

Attended Thiel College for his undergraduate degree in Environmental Science.  Played Soccer, Track, Golf and Tennis collegiately.  He was Captain of the Soccer and Golf teams his senior year.

Attended Bowling Green State University for his Masters in Geology. Played club volleyball for the BGSU Men's Club team.  In his final season he earned all MIVA honors at libero, his final season the club team finished 9th in the nation.

Director of OVC for the last 12 years.

​​

Has been coaching at OVC for 15 years.  

In 2014 earned a 4th place finish at the East Coast Championships and a national bid in which the team finished 31st in the country and the higest ranked tidewater team.

Has Coached 16s, 17s and 18s at OVC.
