Ocean Volleyball Club is currently under the direction of James "Fritz" Scheuer, he has now been the director for the past 12 years, leading OVC to become a very common club known on the East Coast and beyond.  In his tenure OVC has grown from two or three teams each season, to six or more quality teams. 

 

Great coaches are at the forefront of making OVC what it is today.  OVC coaches have been coaching on average, between the current 7 head coaches, 15 years, most coaches have been coaching for 20+ years.  At OVC you will get the best from each coach and in turn the coach will get the best out of each player. 

 

OVC has sent multiple players to college to play collegiatley.  OVC develops a great rapport with families, having multiple siblings play for OVC.  OVC was established in 2005 by Bill Reeves.  At the time he was coaching at Kempsville High School and the tidewater area was in need of another club volleyball program, so OVC was born. 

 

The club is run by four overarching principles: Integrity, Sportmanship, Skill and Fun.
